From the 1 st July employers can return employees to work on less than their contractual hours and still claim a proportion of the furlough government support.
This “flexible furlough” scheme does require communication to staff and to give staff a chance to agree to returning to work on flexible furlough.
The first letter below – is informing an employee that the company intends to bring them back to work under flexible furlough and is asking the employee to indicate their acceptance.
The second letter is confirming the actual work pattern for the employee once it has been agreed that they will return.
